Liberty Security Seals (LSS) Terms & Conditions

PRICING
All prices provided by LSS are in US dollars, unless otherwise clearly indicated.
LSS reserves the right to amend our online pricing without notice. For our clients that do not purchase from us online, we reserve the right to change our pricing on a quarterly basis, with minimum 60 days written notice.

PURCHASE ORDERS
LSS prefers receiving purchase orders by email, fax or EDI. Phone orders may be accepted, at the discretion of LSS, and typically with the customer providing an official PO number and a credit card for approved purchase.

DELIVERY TERMS
Unless otherwise indicated, all pricing is valid from FOB, Liberty Security Seals distribution center, Somerset, NJ 08873.

ORDER QUANTITY
Products are sold only by the carton packaging as indicated in the data sheets for our individual products. Customized order quantities are available at additional costs.

ORDER CANCELLATION

GENERICALLY marked security seals (LSS stock marked);
Orders for generically marked (LSS stock marked) security seals can be cancelled on the same day the order has been placed or until the order has physically shipped from our distribution center, whichever of these conditions are met first.

CUSTOMIZED marked security seals;
Orders for CUSTOMIZED security seals can be cancelled until the “marking approval” has been approved by the customer.

For orders of customized security seals, where a NEW customized marking is requested by a customer, LSS will email a picture of the sample of the seal marking that the client must approve, before the seal order can be processed. Once the client has approved the marking, the order is considered “in production” and can no longer be cancelled.

Sample marking approval is not requested for repeat orders by the same customer, therefore, cancellations for repeat orders for CUSTOMIZED security seals can only be cancelled if production of the order has not started, and in any case, at the discretion of LSS.

PAYMENT
Standard payment terms are NET 30, from day of shipping, and subject to credit approval.
Credit card payments are accepted.

RETURN POLICY
Security seals with customized marking cannot be returned.
If LSS made an error during the processing of the order that has caused the delivered product to deviate from our promise, then we will of course accept the return of your order.
Returns will not be accepted without written authorization from Liberty Security Seals.
Only products in un-opened cartons are accepted for return.
A 20% restock fee will apply to all returns, except if Liberty Security Seals has made an error in the processing of your order.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS
Liberty Security Seals attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, Liberty Security Seals does not warrant that product descriptions or any other content on this site is accurate, complete, current, or free of errors. If a product offered by Liberty Security Seals itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return the product in its un-used condition.

SHORTAGES / DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
Unless specifically agreed otherwise, all products sold by Liberty Security Seals are sold from FOB Liberty Security Seal’s distribution center or any other shipping point designated as a distribution center by Liberty Security Seals. This means that the risk of loss and title for the products you are buying from LSS pass to you the moment your order has been loaded onto the carrier’s truck.
If you have a preferred carrier that you would like LSS to utilize for your deliveries, or if you have a shipping contract with a specific carrier you would like to use for the deliveries of your orders, let us know, and we will be happy to book your deliveries to any carrier of your choice.
Shortages must be noted by the customer on the Bill of Lading with the carrier’s signature at the time of delivery. Make sure to check your deliveries, so you can react in time.
Liberty Security Seals must be notified of any shipping related discrepancies (damage, shortages or other) within 3 days of the delivery of the order.

SALES- AND USE TAXES
Customer is responsible for Federal, state, and/or local sales or use taxes. These taxes will be applied to your invoiced shipment if Liberty Security Seals does not have a current copy of your tax exemption certificate on file.

This site is provided by Liberty Security Seals on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Liberty Security Seals makes no representations or warranties of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the operation of this site or the information, content, materials or products presented on this site. By visiting this site, you expressively agree that your use of this site and products are at your sole risk. To the full extend permissible by applicable law, Liberty Security Seals disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Liberty Security Seals does not warrant that this site, it’s servers, or e-mail sent from Liberty Security Seals are free of viruses or other harmful components.
